Troocoo is proud to partner with St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland in the search for a dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing, Communications, and Media. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the communications strategies for an organisation with a powerful mission of serving those in need, and to make a meaningful impact through your leadership and expertise.About The Role As the Head of Marketing, Communications, and Media, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the Society’s communication strategies. You’ll manage a diverse range of responsibilities including marketing, media, internal communications, community engagement, branding, and digital channels.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multi-channel strategies, including traditional and social media, internal and external communications, and be able to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.You will work closely with the General Manager, Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications, contributing to the development and implementation of the strategic plan, as well as driving key marketing and communications initiatives that align with the Society’s values and mission.Your Key Responsibilities Develop and manage communications projects, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s goals. Lead, mentor, and develop the communications and marketing team to achieve organisational success. Design and execute both internal and external communication strategies. Create and implement strategies across digital, traditional marketing, and creative assets. Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and initiatives. Evaluate communication effectiveness, review performance metrics, and implement improvements to increase reach and engagement. Provide media and PR support for major events and initiatives, such as the CEO Sleepout, Winter and Christmas Appeals, National Homelessness Week, and more. Oversee the development of content for social media, website, and internal publications. Represent the Society on National Advisory Committees and collaborate with counterparts in other states. Minimum 6+ years in a similar leadership role, overseeing a team. A demonstrated ability to manage and engage both internal and external stakeholders with ease. Proven leadership skills, including human resources, strategic planning, and financial management. A strong understanding and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society and the ability to promote its values.
