Join a blue chip FMCG powerhouse, known for delivering market disrupting innovation to the ANZ Market.My client is looking for a strategic, results-driven Head of Sales to lead the sales function across both regions, based in VIC.As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the sales strategy across the business unit. Your leadership will drive the sales function, ensuring the successful execution of the sales strategy through your National Account and Field Sales Teams.Join an organisation at the forefront of innovation and operating in the better for you space!You will Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the ANZ business unit, ensuring effective execution through the National Account and Field Sales Teams; Lead your teams to deliver on budgeted sales growth, market share targets, and service level objectives. Support new product launches and develop strategies to expand distribution and increase sales; Build and nurture strong, long-term partnerships with key accounts, transitioning relationships from transactional to collaborative; Lead pricing and terms negotiations, manage trade spend, and ensure alignment with customer objectives; Lead and inspire the National Account and Field Sales Teams, focusing on their professional growth, performance, and continuous development. Ensure the team is deployed efficiently to meet sales objectives; Work cross-functionally with marketing, demand planning, and other teams to align on strategies and ensure smooth execution. Actively participate in Senior Leadership Team discussions, offering insights and progress updates; Ensure sales forecast accuracy and contribute to the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process to improve customer service levels and meet financial objectives; and Ensure the safety and wellbeing of your team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. What you will have Extensive experience in sales leadership within the FMCG sector, with a proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets; Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team; Deep understanding of the Australian and New Zealand retail markets and the dynamics of key accounts; Experience in developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and leading negotiations; Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders; Analytical mindset with the ability to forecast, plan, and optimise sales activities; and A commitment to team development and continuous improvement.
