They are now seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead their sales organisation. About the Role This is a unique opportunity to lead and grow a high-performing sales team across Australia, drive a national sales strategy, and deliver measurable growth across both direct-to-customer and dealer-based channels. As Head of Sales, you will oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy, leveraging market intelligence, data analytics, and value-based selling to enhance decision-making and conversion rates. Collaborating closely with marketing, product development, and customer experience teams, you’ll align business goals and achieve outstanding results. The role will involve travel across Australia as this company expands its reach. The ideal candidate can be based across Australia, but optimal locations are Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a national sales strategy to position the company as the leader in its field and achieve revenue targets. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to consistently deliver and exceed KPI results. Business Growth: Drive business growth by exploring untapped markets and expanding opportunities across new states in Australia. Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor KPIs, implementing corrective actions to exceed sales targets. Operational Oversight: Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline activities to optimise resources and maximise opportunities. Skills and Experience Leadership Experience: 7+ years in senior sales leadership roles, ideally in manufacturing or related industries. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth in dual sales models (direct and dealer-based). Relationship Building: High emotional intelligence with the ability to understand regional nuances and cultivate strong relationships. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in integrating CRM systems into operations and using sales analytics tools. Market Understanding: Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and market dynamics. Team Leadership: Experience managing diverse teams, including unstructured or inbound sales teams.
