Troocoo is thrilled to partner with Entrada Travel Group in seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales to lead their Tropical North Queensland (TNQ) sales team. About Entrada Travel Group Entrada Travel Group is a market leader in the tourism industry, offering a range of exciting travel experiences through its iconic TNQ brands such as Spirit of Cairns, Tusa Reef Tours, Spirit of Freedom, Divers Den, and Frankland Islands Reef Cruises. About The Role As the Head of Sales for Tropical North Queensland, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the sales strategy for TNQ’s renowned tourism brands. You will lead a dedicated sales team focused on both domestic and international markets, working closely with industry stakeholders, wholesalers, and inbound operators to expand market share and increase revenue. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and align with TNQ's market priorities and goals. Key Responsibilities Achieve and exceed sales targets for TNQ brands, including the management of sales expenses and profitability. Drive innovation in product offerings, collaborating with marketing and operations teams to create compelling, unique experiences that meet the needs of customers. Develop and lead sales forecasts, industry analysis, and performance reporting to keep leadership informed and engaged. Strengthen TNQ’s reputation as a leader in the wholesale, inbound operator, and tourism sectors. Ensure seamless coordination of sales strategies across TNQ’s portfolio of products and channels, ensuring consistency and efficiency in all sales activities. Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to deliver on objectives and drive a high-performance culture. About You You will be an inspiring leader who is values-driven and can engage and motivate a high-performing sales team, craft innovative strategies that deliver results, and build strong, collaborative relationships with key partners and stakeholders. With a deep understanding of the Australian tourism market, you'll bring strategic thinking to capitalize on emerging opportunities while tracking performance to ensure success. Adaptable and resourceful, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your financial acumen to manage budgets and forecasts effectively. Your proven success in meeting and achieving sales targets ideally within tourism or hospitality, will be underpinned by exceptional leadership, communication skills, and a knack for data-driven decision-making. A network of industry relationships and a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential) will round out your expertise.
