We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Head of Special Education Services (HOSES) to deliver the school inclusion framework across three schools within the cluster with Baralaba State School as the base school.This position will share a 0.2 FTE with Theodore State School and Bauhinia State School and a 0.8 FTE at Baralaba State School to ensure consistent delivery and implementation of the department's vision on inclusion.About The Department Of Education The Department of Education is dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the community and schools we support by treating everyone with respect and dignity. About The Role Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support provided by the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program. Lead and manage the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program to provide advice to classroom teachers for students with disability as needed. Provide high quality advice to the school leadership team, classroom teachers and other school staff to develop, plan and implement effective reasonable adjustments for students with disability. Coordinate and provide intensive targeted teaching for students requiring intervention. About You Have a strong sense of community feel, working as part of a team and being able to connect with a diverse range of people. Passion for improving student outcomes. Supporting the wellbeing and welfare of all staff and incorporating a positive outlook to enhance school culture. Willing to take risks that positively impact student learning outcomes. Work diligently with a team of school leaders. Utilise resources effectively, to ensure tasks are completed.
