An exciting opportunity exists for motivated Head of Special Education Services in the Northern Coalfields cluster.In this role, you will provide curriculum leadership in special education, fostering quality learning outcomes for all students, with a focus on promoting inclusivity and excellence for students with disabilities.You will nurture positive relationships within and beyond the school community, ensuring effective support and adjustments for students with disabilities based on relevant legislation and policies.About The Department The Department of Education is dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the community and schools we support by treating everyone with respect and dignity. This includes making reasonable adjustments to support applicants at all stages of the process and employee lifecycle.About The School This position is based at Clermont State High School with required travel and work within the Northern Coalfields cluster (Clermont State High School, Clermont State School, Kilcummin State School and Mistake Creek State School).About The Role As the Head of Special Education Services your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following: Promote an inclusive culture and practices within the school community to ensure equity and excellence for students with disability. Develop and support a high quality of teaching and adjustments for students with disability in accordance to related legislation and policies. Interested?
