Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is for someone with superior expertise and experience in the technology (enterprise and B2C) space; a team and agency leader in possession of a strategic, curious mindset; and a motivated, energetic entrepreneurial spirit who can target, hunt and win new business. Your mission is to meet and exceed client expectations by delivering brilliant campaigns, building and growing relationships, and positioning WE Communications as an industry leader in the PR technology space. This is a senior leadership position where no two days are the same. Working closely with the Managing Director and senior team, you will be a: Client Champion Shape the strategic direction and growth of major client accounts while ensuring impeccable day-to-day management. Champion the development and delivery of WE’s core service offerings. Develop superior client proposals, plans, and strategies that meet the brief while pushing the boundaries. Nurture and build current client relationships to identify gaps, new opportunities and add value. You need to possess the hunger, the smarts, the drive and the energy to identify and win new business. Lead the charge in business growth and profitability with innovative ideas and processes. Oversee budgets like a pro and meet financial targets for your business unit. Team Dynamo Lead and mentor a team of talented PR stars, cultivating an environment where talent flourishes, excellence is the norm and success is shared and celebrated. Play a pivotal role in strategic and operational planning, and people and culture initiatives. Drive collaboration across other teams to deliver integrated communication solutions and foster positive teamwork and culture. Serve as key member of the Executive Management Team, responsible for contributing to agency-wide success and strategic objective mapping and achievement. Strategic Thinking Boundary Pusher Deliver strategic thinking that elevates client and business outcomes. Oversee media and PR campaigns that make headlines and drive results. Proactively contribute to the agency’s growth, reputation, and industry leadership. You’ll need to have: Significant senior-level experience in the Technology and Consumer space with the confidence to lead with vision and heart. A strategic mindset with the ability to oversee complex projects while staying hands-on as required, and the discernment to know where to play and when. Deep knowledge of PR, communications, and the ever-changing media and communications landscape. Proven business development skills with the ability to create and nurture prospects and client relationships, to win new clients and to build revenue. Proven leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing talent. Substantive and proven financial acumen, including the ability to manage a team P&L, interpret data (e.g. via Power BI) and manage client account financials. Why Join WE? We’re not just an agency.
