Health Ancillary Worker - Cowell Casual Pool Job no: 868003 Work type: Casual Location: Eyre and Western Categories: Catering and Hospitality Salary: $27.93 - $28.23 per hour + 25% casual loading - Casual (up to 30 June 2025) - WHA2 Overview The Services Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering prompt, proficient, and high-quality service to Cowell Hospital and Health Service. This encompasses both catering and cleaning responsibilities within the unit. Tasks range from food preparation, serving, and delivery to clients, to overall housekeeping duties. Additionally, the role may involve general laundry tasks. The Services Assistant reports directly to the Ancillary Supervisor for daily guidance and is ultimately accountable to the EO/DONM. Applicant Information Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements. Check(s) National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients) Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances) SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
