Full Time, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract 80 hours per fortnight - Inclusive of ADO accrual Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services. NHW is seeking a suitably qualified and highly motivated person to join the Health Information Services (HIS) Team as a Health Information Manager (HIM). With clinical coding being the primary role of the successful applicant, they will have a well-developed knowledge of ICD-10-AM and the Australian Coding Standards. NHW uses a fully interfaced 3M Codefinder software alongside other clinical information systems. There is also a comprehensive auditing program which the applicant will be an integral part of. This role also assists when required with the operational management of HIS through staff management, coordination and implementation of new and updated procedures for patient information management. With the implementation of a new regional Patient Administration System (PAS), the successful applicant will also have the opportunity to be a part of this exciting project.
