Health & Safety Business Partner - 6 Month Contract Job no: 494988Work type: ContractLocation: Melbourne - CBD & Inner SuburbsCategories: Human Resources & Recruitment Health & Safety Business Partner Citywide is recruiting for a highly experienced and engaging Health & Safety Business Partner on a 6 month contract to provide assistance to a very busy team. Your prior experience in fast paced, diverse and blue collar work environments together with strong communication skills will be highly valued. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Assisting with the review and update of Safety documentation including SWMS and SOPs, Policies and Procedures. Triaging incidents and allocating investigations. Analysing incident data and making recommendations for improving safety performance. Developing an effective, sustainable safety leadership framework. Assisting with safety reporting and preparation of meeting agendas/minutes. Undertaking ICAM investigations. Assisting with critical risk reviews. Skills and qualifications required: Demonstrated experience as a senior Safety Business Partner. Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or related discipline. Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment with multiple deadlines. Knowledge and application of relevant laws and regulations across Australia. Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
