Base pay range A$130,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr Health and Safety Advisor - DIDO or FIFO $130,000 - $150,000 plus Super, DIDO or FIFO Health and Safety Advisor, Yass New South Wales. This is a site-based role working on a large-scale infrastructure, government funded project, providing unique learning and development opportunities, within a leading safety team. This company has an established health and safety strategy which they are continually updating to suit the requirements and scale of their projects, and are currently seeking a site based Advisor to ensure accurate delivery and engagement. About the Company This company is a leader within the infrastructure and energy space, working on a range of long-term, large-scale projects. Their pipeline of large-scale projects is continuing to grow, and they are continually working to ensure their processes are in line with project requirements. As such, they are now looking to hire a new Health and Safety Advisor to work on one of their major projects. About the role This role will involve working with everyone from site teams through to management, to ensure accurate delivery and engagement across the site, in line with changes to the safety management systems, and site-specific requirements. Joining an established team, your role will be to undertake day-to-day site-based responsibilities, as well as educate and upskill those on site. This will be a DIDO / FIFO role, working on a roster. Duties Implementing Health and Safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation and project specific requirements Visiting site and engaging with site teams and managers, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical Health and Safety related enquiries Conducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations. Constantly seeking areas for improvement and development in Health and Safety performance Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact Skills & Experience Experience in a similar role ideally within infrastructure, energy, civil engineering, construction, or related industries Experience updating and developing Safety and Risk Management Systems, in line with relevant legislative requirements Experience undertaking Health and Safety Audits CertIV in Health and Safety, or equivalent Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships at all levels Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio Experience with Procore Construction Management System a plus Culture This company is highly regarded within the infrastructure and energy industry, for not only their projects and portfolio, but also their culture.
