Helpdesk L1 | Council Your new company Join a dynamic and supportive team in the Blue Mountains region. This organisation is dedicated to providing excellent service and support to its community and staff. Your new role As a Helpdesk Level 1 Technician, you will be the first point of contact for IT support within the organization. Your responsibilities will include: Managing 5 to 10 tickets per day. Setting up and cabling computers on desktops. Assisting users with Office 365 and Windows. Conducting laptop changeovers and transferring user profiles. Providing face-to-face support and demonstrating how to use various systems. Utilizing the HP system online for support tasks. Working closely with a small helpdesk team of three people. This role requires you to be in the office five days a week, working 35 hours per week from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour break. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role. Experience with Active Directory (AD) and Office 365. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for face-to-face support. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
