Hire Assistant - Supporting Office and Yard Operations - Airlie Beach Based Are you ready for a challenge? We aim to provide modern, well-maintained hire equipment at a competitive price when our customers need it. Flexihire is currently seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated person to join the team in our established Airlie Beach branch. We are looking for a self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to think on their feet in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, the candidate will live or be willing to move to Airlie Beach as this position requires a dedicated local presence. The key attributes we are looking for to fill this role include: A commitment to adhere to safe work practices A willingness to work and learn on the job Ability to communicate with a wide range of people and demonstrate sound interpersonal skills Willingness to follow instructions and ask for assistance when needed Demonstrated punctuality and reliability Commitment to work as part of a team The key responsibilities required for this role include: Loading and unloading equipment from customers and trucks Cleaning, recording and inspecting all equipment returned to the branch Reporting equipment damage and refuelling equipment Assisting the front office Assisting in keeping the workshop, yard, and service area clean, tidy, and safe Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team Sound written and verbal communication skills Forklift licence – highly regarded but not essential The successful candidate for this challenging role can expect an excellent remuneration package.
