Job description: Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities. We are currently recruiting staff for Barren Ground, Moss Vale, Bowral, Mittagong, Beaumont, Mt Murray, Bullio, Burradoo and Exeter. What’s On Offer: Permanent Part-Time contracts available offering on average 20-40 hours per fortnight + opportunity to work extra hours based on business needs. Earn from $29.81 - $33 per hour based on your experience plus 11.5% super. Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time. Smartphone and Uniform – ready when you join us. A fully supported and paid Induction program. Traineeship Opportunity: Become Cert III qualified in Individual Support (Aged Care) all fees paid (for eligible employees). Fitness Passport: a discounted gym membership program (for eligible employees and their families). Your New Role: Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation & assisted dressing. Transport: transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings. Personal Care: experienced staff assist customers with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime & medication prompting. Client Awareness: building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training. Safety Practices: adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe. Key Requirements: Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle. Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday. Willing to travel across all suburbs that the branch services. All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with a minimum of 2 doses. Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin, Vietnamese, Spanish, Arabic, Lebanese, or Greek is valued but not mandatory.
