This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping customer service interactions and drive performance within our Lake Macquarie/Hunter Home Care team. As a Team Leader, you’ll bring people leadership, and ideally clinical expertise, to support and develop a dedicated team. This hands-on, operational leadership role requires focus and flexibility, with a strong emphasis on performance management, team engagement whilst delivering exceptional customer service outcomes to older Australians. Working fulltime, with a collaborative leadership team from our Cooranbong office, you will be required to participate in a rotating, weekday roster every eight weeks. What you’ll Bring Demonstrated experience leading remote teams to deliver personalised, flexible and holistic aged care services. Proactive problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, with proven ability to manage escalations and deliver balanced outcomes for clients, staff and the business. Highly desirable - clinical care expertise, including medications, wound management, dementia and palliative support. Empathy, dedication and responsibility with demonstrated experience working collaboratively with elderly clients and their families. About You Hold a relevant industry Certificate IV qualification or higher. Dedicated to optimising client outcomes by balancing needs, clinical care, and available services. Strong understanding of duty of care and reporting requirements in service delivery. Experienced in managing care plans, including risk assessments and liaising with external providers. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead with empathy. Skilled in coordinating rosters and leveraging IT systems for effective communication for remote teams. Adaptable to evolving aged care regulations and the Federal Government's Aged Care Roadmap. Committed to delivering high-quality care while navigating the complexities of aged care standards and funding models. Essentials for working in Aged Care: Australian Working Rights. Current First Aid and CPR Certificate. Current and/or ongoing Flu and Hepatitis B Vaccinations. Current unrestricted Australian’s Driver’s Licence. Reliable, registered and insured vehicle. Willingness to: Obtain NDIS Workers Screen Check. Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment.
