About the Business As the public face of CommBank, the Retail Banking Services (RBS) team delivers a seamless banking experience to more than 10 million personal and small business customers. You’ll be joining a team of business development experts who work across the branch network, mobile banking, premier banking and Private Banking Channels. The Opportunity As the Partnership Manager, you will work within a team of professionals responsible for generating high-quality home lending opportunities. You will generate these new business opportunities through establishing and managing partnerships with accredited third-party referral sources. A successful Partnership Manager has the proven ability to source, establish, and manage relationships with external business partners (B2B). The Partnership Manager will play an integral part in identifying, nurturing, and developing our business, driving an operational culture of continuous improvement. More specifically, your primary responsibilities will include: Business Development Excellence by role modelling effective business development techniques, ensuring quality and mutually beneficial partnerships are established with reputable external businesses within the Real Estate, Accounting, and Conveyancing industries. Meeting prospective referral sources by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network. Identifying potential referral sources and the decision makers within their organisation. Working with the team to develop proposals that speak to the referral sources' needs, concerns, and objectives. Presenting a professional image that mirrors that of the referral source and CommBank. Tracking and recording activity on accounts and helping to close deals to meet these targets. Stakeholder Management through developing and maintaining relationships with Lenders and their Managers within the Private, Premier, Mobile, and Branch customer segments. Risk Management through assessing and identifying potential risks that may hinder the reputation, safety, security, and financial prosperity of the bank. About You Expertise at establishing and maintaining relationships with strategic business partners and developing mutually beneficial relationships. Proven ability to source, establish, and manage relationships with external business partners to generate high volumes of business outcomes. Technology Skills for navigating and applying Bank systems. Demonstrated capability in a business development role is preferred. Your Development We are passionate about our people’s development.
