The role of the Hospital Services Manager is a dual role which encompasses both food and cleaning services at Currumbin Clinic. The position is responsible for the provision of nutritiously balanced food in accordance with Aurora menu guidelines whilst maintaining an efficient department. It is also responsible for ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Hospital is maintained at the highest standard for patients, staff and visitors at all times. About Currumbin Clinic: Currumbin Clinic is a 104-bed private mental health hospital located on the Southern Gold Coast, delivering high quality care and positive patient outcomes. We have a team of dedicated Psychiatrists, Medical, Nursing, Allied and Administrative staff who provide expert care in the management and treatment of all acute mental health disorders. Qualifications: Qualified Chef. Food Safety Supervisor qualifications and certificate. Minimum of five years’ experience in catering services preferably within a health care setting. Minimum of three years’ experience in the management of catering services. Excellent communication and liaison skills. Sound documentation and report writing skills. Ability to work collaboratively with consumers, carers, staff, external stakeholders and members of the public. Sound computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Annual completion of Mandatory Training sessions CPR; in Fire/Emergency management; and Workplace Aggression Management. Regular attendance at relevant meetings. Knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge of Currumbin Clinic and Aurora Policies and Procedures. Vaccination Preventable Disease: It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: Pertussis (whooping cough), Diphtheria and Tetanus You must be able to provide serology evidence and a VPD form for the above-mentioned vaccinations and will be asked by the recruiting manager to supply this evidence if you are the preferred candidate for the role.
