We take pride in creating vibrant, supportive environments that enable our residents to thrive.We're seeking an experienced Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team at Forest Grove Retirement Living in Durack, Queensland. As a key member of our facilities team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our common areas, ensuring our residents enjoy a warm and welcoming home.About the Role We're looking for someone with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, who is reliable, efficient, and takes pride in their work. You'll work closely with our friendly team and residents to provide a high-quality cleaning service, attending to resident requests and community emergencies as needed. This part-time position requires flexibility to work Saturday 6-9am and Sunday 6-8am shifts, with occasional overtime as required.Your Responsibilities - Maintain the cleanliness and organization of village common areas, including floors, bathrooms, and hallways- Provide thorough service to residents and fellow staff members by attending to resident requests and community emergencies- Build relationships and be a friendly face to residents, enhancing their overall experience- Assist residents and community with general ad-hoc tasks as neededWhat We Offer - Competitive hourly rate of $27.66 + relevant award entitlements, including penalty rates, overtime, and allowances- Superannuation benefits (earn 1.5x penalty rates on Saturday and 1.75x on Sunday)- Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program- Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers- The opportunity to work in a caring retirement living community, supporting our residents to live their best livesRequirements - Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or laundry service roles (highly desired)- Current Police Check clearance (required, but we can complete for you)- Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)Aveo's Culture We value kindness, care, and respect in all aspects of our business.
