HR Business Partner – Temporary Opportunity We are partnering with a respected organization in the manufacturing industry to find a confident and proactive HR Business Partner for a temporary assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to key HR initiatives and providing impactful support to the business. About the Role: As the HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving HR excellence, ensuring seamless operations, and supporting key organizational objectives during a critical period. Working closely with the Head of HR and the wider team, you will deliver a wide range of HR functions, providing expert guidance and hands-on support to meet business needs. Key Responsibilities: Act as a trusted advisor on Employee Relations, offering guidance on workplace conflicts, performance management, grievances, and disciplinary actions, while resolving complaints in a fair and timely manner. Review and audit employee contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and develop, revise, and implement HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals. Interpret and apply the Manufacturing Award, providing guidance on pay rates, entitlements, and conditions, and manage award interpretation issues such as overtime, penalties, and leave entitlements. Support Workers Compensation processes, including liaising with insurers, managing return-to-work plans, and assisting with HSE initiatives such as audits, safety training, and compliance reporting. Build strong relationships across the organization to proactively identify and address potential issues and contribute to fostering a safe, compliant, and engaged workplace culture. About You: Previous experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner. Background in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable. Ability to confidently manage end-to-end HR duties and hit the ground running. Strong knowledge of award interpretation, ER processes, and policy updates. A proactive and solutions-focused mindset. HR qualifications are desirable but not essential with the right experience. Benefits: Immediate start in Kings Park with onsite parking. Temporary position. Circa $55-$65 per hour.
