About the role: You will be a seasoned HR Generalist, providing expert advice on all types of HR matters, including policies and procedures, modern award interpretation, and pay compliance queries. You will lead various HR activities, focusing on developing leadership skills through coaching and supporting front-line managers. Comfortable handling complex ER/IR issues, you will work with unions, assist with performance management conversations, and ensure consistency across the business.Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, this hands-on role will have you managing key HR initiatives, navigating challenging HR situations, and fostering a productive, compliant work environment. We are looking for a professional who can operate independently, offering solutions to challenges without constant guidance, while managing processes such as casual conversion, HR correspondence, and Modern Award interpretation. You will also deliver HR solutions that support business objectives and drive HR initiatives during a time of change and transition.This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a flexible work environment with a blend of work-from-home and office-based days at our Bella Vista location. Key responsibilities: Develop and deliver training programs for managers to ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices. Manage HR casework, including investigating and resolving employee relations matters. Keep up-to-date with advancements in HR, aged care, and policy and quality practices. Support case management, including conducting workplace investigations, in alignment with the Senior HRBPs. Lead and support ad-hoc HR projects as required. About you: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Demonstrated experience within an HR role with a strong understanding of HR compliance and legislation. Experience with Australian Modern Award interpretation. Proven ability to support business leaders on HR/ER matters. Previous experience handling union discussions and resolving complex ER/IR issues. Experience in HR case management. Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
