Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled IT Asset Manager to join and lead the current team. The successful candidate will oversee the lifecycle management of end-user hardware assets, coordinate equipment refresh projects, and ensure optimal asset utilization across the business. Strong team leadership, knowledge of asset management tools, and vendor management experience with hardware vendors is essential for this role. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES include but are not limited to: Asset Management: Oversee the procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of hardware assets, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and reporting. Equipment Refresh: Plan and execute equipment refresh cycles, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with various departments to minimize disruption to end users. Vendor Management Policy Development Training and Support Budget Management Continuous Improvement SKILLS & EXPERIENCE (To be successful in this role, you will have): Effective Communication Skills – demonstrated ability through strong communication skills to connect with people of all levels and technical backgrounds. Ability to clearly explain the project goals as well as tasks, responsibilities, expectations, and feedback throughout the entire lifecycle. Strong Stakeholder Management – build and maintain trusted & valued relationships with stakeholders, project team members, and vendors and ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders. Strong Leadership Skills Strong Vendor Management Skills – ability to manage vendors throughout an engagement to ensure successful delivery of the contracted milestones.
