IT Implementations Engineer | North Sydney Precision IT is a premier Managed Services Provider (MSP) with a nationwide presence, offering a wide range of IT services to clients across Australia. Our offices are located in Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Melbourne. We are now seeking an energetic, self-starter with exceptional drive and motivation to join our Project Team, in a flexible hybrid capacity split between our North Sydney Office and remotely if desired. The opportunity Our Implementations Engineers play a critical role in implementing advanced IT infrastructures and solutions for our clients. With a strong focus on cloud-based technologies from leading vendors like AWS, Azure, Microsoft, Citrix, and Fortinet, our Implementations Engineers are passionate about cloud computing and boast a diverse skill set and extensive experience in deploying cloud-based solutions. Primary focuses Responsible for delivering projects and executing approved statements of work. Skillfully manage projects from start to finish, both independently and as part of a team. Oversee project budget, timeline, risk management, and scope analysis, and ensure successful outcomes. Create and maintain a technical knowledge database for both clients and internal teams. Offer expert insights on current and emerging technologies to inform client technology strategies. Share specialised product knowledge with the wider team. Provide advanced technical assistance and troubleshooting for technical support escalations. About you Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a meticulous eye for detail. Have a great attitude and be able to present yourself professionally and confidently in the office and with our clients. Capable of working independently as well as in a team-oriented setting. Proactive and confident in identifying and implementing solutions. Strong motivation to expand IT knowledge and experience through certifications. Committed to delivering the best possible IT outcomes. What You Need Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry, including a minimum of 2 years in developing and implementing IT solutions. 2+ years of experience working in an outsourced service provider environment. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows and Microsoft-based solutions. Proven ability to lead or support cloud-based solutions, including new deployments, migrations, and hybrid integrations. Experience working with Azure, AWS, Office 365, Azure AD, and private cloud environments. Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management (IDM) solutions. Practical experience managing Linux-based operating systems. Strong understanding of core networking principles, including routing, subnetting, L2/L3 switching, VLANs, trunking, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and IPSec. Experience with implementing and managing virtualized application deployments such as Citrix DaaS or Azure Virtual Desktop.
