Job Description BESIX Watpac have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Operations Team Leader to join our Information Technology team, based in our head office in Fortitude Valley. You will lead a team of skilled technical and operational professionals, delivering proactive solutions that meet business needs by combining hands-on expertise with strategic leadership. The key responsibilities of this position include: Provide leadership to the Infrastructure and Application team, managing team performance and developing skills. Manage and improve IT monitoring systems, operating systems, cyber risk management, IT infrastructure and applications. Monitor the Infrastructure and Application team's service level performance to prevent breaches. Conduct root cause analysis and report on major incidents. Establish and develop relationships with key business stakeholders. Develop and deliver monthly reports on team performance against service delivery targets. Qualifications The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience: Demonstrated experience in an Infrastructure or Applications role. Proven ability to lead an IT technical and Application team. Extensive knowledge of AWS, hybrid cloud, backup solutions, Microsoft 365, ERP. An excellent communicator who understands the business needs and can articulate in technical terms. Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work cohesively within a team environment. ITIL Foundation required.
