Job Description IT Service Continuity Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing IT Service Continuity Management within EGL Transformation Program, ensuring that IT services can withstand and recover from disruptions, thereby supporting the overall business continuity and resilience of EGL Technology. IT Service Continuity Manager is responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining plans that ensure IT services are resilient and can be restored quickly to minimize impact on business operations. The role ensures in minimizing the impact of unexpected and/or catastrophic events on IT services and ensuring business continuity. Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role: Developing IT Service Continuity Plans: Strategy Creation: Develop and maintain IT service continuity plans that align with overall business continuity strategies of EGL. Documentation: Document detailed procedures for maintaining and recovering IT services in the event of disruptions. Business Impact Analysis (BIA): Assessment: Conduct a BIA to identify critical IT services and their dependencies, assessing the impact of potential disruptions on EGL. Prioritization: Define recovery priorities and recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) for each IT service of EGL. Risk Management: Risk Identification: Identify potential risks and threats to IT services. Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and minimize their impact to EGL. Testing and Exercises: Plan Testing: Regularly test IT service continuity plans through simulations and exercises to ensure they are effective and up-to-date. Scenario Planning: Create and test different disaster scenarios to prepare for various types of disruptions. Coordination and Communication: Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with various EGL departments & Transformational Pillars, including but not limited to IT operations, security, and facilities management, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of continuity plans. Incident Management: Lead or support the response to incidents affecting IT services, ensuring that continuity plans are executed effectively. Qualifications Now let’s talk about you: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. A master's degree is a plus. 5 years of experience in IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM), or related roles within an IT or software development environment. Strong knowledge of IT Service Continuity management methodologies and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
