IT Support System Administrator (BBBH2676) Deakin, Canberra, Australia Cleared Recruitment are partnering with a key agency within Australia’s Defence portfolio to support their program through an exciting opportunity for an NV1 IT Support Specialist!This role is essential for the Gemini Program, which focuses on enhancing analyst capabilities across ASD’s core missions, from foreign signals intelligence to cyber security. The Gemini Program plays a vital role in training and onboarding, designed to support ASD’s mission expansion over the next decade. As an IT Support Specialist, you’ll be delivering and sustaining the technical capabilities needed for this program across Canberra, Brisbane, and Melbourne.This is a 12-month contract with a possibility of a 12-month extension, based on site in Canberra.Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day installation, setup, maintenance, and support of IT systems and products, supporting the operational needs of ASD’s Gemini Program. Develop and maintain related documentation to ensure technical support continuity and knowledge sharing. Support the Gemini Program’s technical requirements, enabling smooth onboarding, training, and foundational skill-building for ASD analysts. Work closely with team members to troubleshoot issues, ensuring ASD’s Gemini Program runs effectively and supports the agency’s strategic growth. Key Skills & Experience: Strong technical skills in IT support, including system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ability to develop and manage documentation, providing clear guidance for ongoing system support. Proven ability to work effectively in a high-security, mission-driven environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Location: CanberraSecurity Clearance: Must hold or have held Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) clearance.Contract Duration: 12 months, with the potential for a 12-month extension.Working Arrangements: Full-time onsite in Canberra (no WFH options available). #J-18808-Ljbffr
