Job Description
Location: Brisbane Contract: 12 months (with possible extension) Rate: Negotiable based on skills and experience MUST HAVE OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGY (OT) OR UTILITIES Exposure. Must be able to understand the terminology in an Engineering background / situation. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with experience in SailPoint and Identity Access Management. You will work closely with project managers, engineering experts, change leads, and implementation partners to deliver high-impact solutions across operational technology environments. Key Responsibilities: Elicit, document, and socialise requirements for engineering-focused projects. Develop user stories, process maps, and project analysis artifacts. Support build phases of identity projects through data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and transition planning. Assist in test case writing and execution. Collaborate with project and change managers on stakeholder presentations, business cases, and communication templates. Conduct financial analysis to support business case submissions and project viability. Ensure accurate process analysis and mapping to identify efficiencies and streamline operations. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, to gather and translate business and technical requirements. Prepare and document operational transition activities and artifacts. Provide clear and concise reports and presentations. Skills & Experience Essential: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology or adjacent industries. Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience with BPMN2.0 for business process mapping. Background in operational technology projects, preferably in the energy sector. Familiarity with industry security standards such as AES-CSF and the SOCI Act. Desirable: Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including SailPoint IdentityIQ, Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta Workforce Cloud, and Ping Identity. Exposure to cloud and on-premise services. Experience using Microsoft Visio for process modeling. Understanding of operational technology environments within the energy market. #J-18808-Ljbffr
