Working from their Sydney headquarters, you would be joining a Global Top Employer in their lively office with a large extended team. You will be expected to have a strong interest in corporate and regulatory affairs. This role would see you assisting the Senior Legal and Head of Legal, supporting operations across the South Pacific. The successful candidate will work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and adaptability across all business units, including marketing, finance, and manufacturing. Additionally, you will be responsible for: Providing general commercial advice on consumer, competition, and product issues. Ensuring Group entities meet their statutory and regulatory obligations. Managing local tactical legal action. Drafting legal opinions, advocacy materials, litigation support, and contracts. Implementing and conducting appropriate legal training sessions across the business. Assisting in company secretarial duties. Developing and monitoring group compliance. Our client is seeking a lawyer with experience in regulation, commercial, and compliance/regulatory matters with between 4 and 8 years' Post Admission Experience. In addition, the ideal candidate will have: An unrestricted practicing certificate. Experience across FMCG and Government regulation. 4 + years of PQE and proven in-house or private practice experience to advise the business with speed and quality. Experience in contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements for the supply of goods and services. An ability to work in a team.
