The Opportunity In our drive to further grow Bürkert, we are looking for a Sales Consultant in Brisbane QLD who is ambitious, energetic, and results-driven. You must be used to achieving and exceeding sales budgets. Training and marketing support is ongoing to ensure success in the role. Your responsibilities will include: Understand client needs by asking the right questions and effectively build interest in Burkert’s products and solutions in pre-selected industry sectors such as food & beverage, pharmaceutical, gas handling, water treatment, and micro fluidics. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and continuously seek to deliver new customers and new business opportunities. Collaborate with and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up. Execute and drive sales strategy to achieve set objectives. About You The ideal candidate will be focused, proactive, and a self-driven professional in sales and business development who is looking to expand their skillset and career in the field of Operational Technology. Prerequisites Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. Exposure or experience in process automation, instrumentation, and technology solutions. Strong commercial acumen, technical sales, and negotiation skills. Ability to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships. The ability to work autonomously. Be someone who likes to be challenged, who thinks beyond the theory, and strives to apply their skills in a broad market of interesting applications. An attitude that is positive, enthusiastic about success, and a work ethic that is passionate about what you do and how you go about achieving strong sales growth results. Excellent communicator, both written and oral.
