Formula for Success Join BASF in a Full-time permanent opportunity as Industry Manager. In this role, you’ll manage and grow relevant strategic business units (SBU) for Australia & New Zealand. You’ll support the BASF Dispersions & Resins business in achieving its strategic objectives by increasing recognition, customer satisfaction, and developing an understanding of industry stakeholders and the value chain. You’ll: Take responsibility for financial performance to achieve targets regarding net sales, contribution margin & fixed costs Manage accounts through relationship development, forecasting, technical support, credit management & commercial negotiation Support other sales personnel with technical & product information for the SBU(s) Contribute to the development of the business strategy & product/project proposals Plan & guide Technical Service Chemist project activities, development plan, and priority Ingredients for Success To be successful in this role, you’ll be a natural communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders of various levels, and possess the ability to translate technical information into business needs. You’ll: Hold a tertiary qualification relevant to the field (technical or business management) Prior experience working in a laboratory environment (highly desirable) Demonstrated sales and business management experience What we can offer you At BASF, you get more than just compensation.
