The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an Industry Manager to provide a critical role at Loddon Prison and Middleton. About the Role The Industry Manager is responsible for supervising and ensuring quality outcomes and service provision of production activity. The Industry Manager will provide regular supervision to staff, contribute to ongoing continuous improvement and development of programs and services, and develop team practices and processes within the correctional environment. As the Industry Manager, some of your duties will include: Leading and managing staff to ensure the safety and security of people in custody, staff and visitors. Monitoring staff for compliance with security and safety procedures. Providing leadership and support to Industry and Service Industries staff. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated ability to manage a wide-ranging portfolio of production related processes and procedures. Knowledge of Corrections Victoria policies, procedures, and programs related to prison management. Excellent computer skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Suite. Qualifications/Requirements A relevant qualification in Management, Leadership, and/or Industry specific trade, and/or commensurate experience would be highly regarded. Applicants must have successfully completed the Corrections Victoria pre-service training program.
