About the role In the role of Industry Operations Manager, you will be a forward-thinking effective leader, industry champion and key member of the Ipswich School Leadership Team. Reporting to the Principal, you will work closely with the Industry and Education Quality teams and Professional Services, to support the successful delivery of The Industry School's deliberately different industry-driven senior secondary program. Key outcomes Effective and efficient delivery of the industry-driven partnership model with industry that builds strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Coach and facilitate employees to build capacity and deliver a truly industry-driven experience to all young people and industry partners. Ensure the school industry team is impactful, sharing good practice, and developing effective resources that will ensure The Industry School’s services are of the highest quality. Proactive leadership in safety, compliance, and risk management establishing, promoting and enforcing safety standards and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities will include: Lead a high-performing and engaged industry team to ensure the delivery of performance goals. Ensure the School aligned Industry Education program is industry-driven and incorporates the voice of industry. Effectively manage industry work experience placements in line with School policies and procedures. Oversee the effective implementation of allocated industry-related programs. Ensure a School-aligned program of industry education is delivered in a manner that provides real value and tangible outcomes for our young people. Lead a culture of safety and continuous improvement through constant conversation and action. Provide the very best industry-driven learning and exemplary industry-standard experiences for young people, employers, and the communities we serve. Deliver, develop, and maintain quality within the Industry Education program, throughout all stages of the young person’s journey. About You To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and skills: Relevant qualification or degree and/or professional experience. Experience within an RTO, with the apprenticeship system, or other relevant industry experience. Demonstrated experience leading a team to achieve outcomes and targets successfully. Aspirational and inspirational leadership capability with the ability to influence and lead by example. Experience managing quality systems and processes. Current valid driver's licence and Working with Children Check (Blue Card). Ability to demonstrate and champion The Industry School values. Right to work in Australia.
