Join our People, Safety and Culture Team as an Injury Management and WHS Officer! We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive person who is passionate about workplace safety and employee wellbeing. This is an exciting opportunity to support workers’ compensation, rehabilitation claims, and salary continuance processes while working closely with our collaborative team. About you Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or the ability to undertake relevant training). Understanding of work health and safety practices, including risk assessment and reduction techniques, the ability to undertake inspections and compliance audits. Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly gain knowledge of relevant legislation. A strong capacity to manage time, set priorities and plan work to ensure set objectives are met in time and within budget. Highly developed written communication skills including proven ability to write clear instructions and reports on activities. What we offer you 2-year contract with a possibility of future permanency. A base salary between $75,071.65 and $86,731.41 (pro-rata) will be negotiated (dependent on skills and experience) with the preferred candidate + 12.5% superannuation.
