About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Allied Health Team Leader to provide expert clinical leadership within our Acute & Urgent Care program. In this key role, you will lead and support a multidisciplinary allied health team, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care. You will work collaboratively to deliver comprehensive assessments, targeted interventions, and time-limited case coordination for patients with complex needs, facilitating safe and sustainable discharge planning. As a clinical leader, you will maintain up-to-date knowledge of Aged Care access and discharge pathways, providing guidance and education across the organisation. You will play a vital role in our integrated multidisciplinary team, focusing on best-practice care for CO-ACT patients. About You We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Inpatient Allied Health Team Leader with strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a passion for patient-centred care. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Qualifications & Expertise – A degree-level qualification in an Allied Health profession with general registration (AHPRA) or eligibility for full membership with the relevant professional body. Extensive clinical experience in evidence-based healthcare, including discharge planning and aged care access. Leadership & Collaboration – Proven ability to lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering teamwork, innovation, and service improvement. Experience in supervision, clinical teaching, and working with families, substitute decision-makers, and community agencies. Advanced Clinical & Problem-Solving Skills – Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and intervention skills, particularly in aged care and complex patient management. Ability to analyse issues, formulate solutions, and implement evidence-based practice improvements. Communication & Organisational Abilities – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, staff, and external providers. Highly developed organisational skills, including prioritisation, negotiation, and managing competing demands.
