The Role In this diverse position you will oversee and manage transportation operations, ensuring the efficient movement of our precast concrete elements from the factory to client site locations. You will also oversee the installation process including people, equipment and supplies. You will take the lead in ensuring that safety and quality remain at the forefront of all we do. What will you be doing? Effectively manage transport by liaising with contractors and client representatives to ensure a seamless delivery process, including executing load schedule. Coordinate labour on site and ensure resources are available as needed to meet installation deadlines. Select and negotiate transport and other relevant supplier contracts. Analyse logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and report on lessons learned. Maintain relationships with Project Managers to ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns relating to logistics and installation. Follow IMS policies, procedures and work instructions to ensure Quality standards are met throughout all stages. About you This is a role for someone who is an experienced Logistics manager, with a strong understanding of the construction industry.
