The Organisational Strategy and Performance team are looking for someone who has strong project management skills and excellent report writing skills for the role of Integrated Reporting Officer. You will be responsible for reporting to Council on the progress of the Council Plan and ensuring the successful delivery of Council’s legislative corporate reporting requirements. What you’ll be doing: Support the development of Hume’s Community Vision and Council Plan, including the Council Annual Action Plan (CAAP). Facilitate Council’s legislative and corporate reporting, including reporting on the delivery of the Council Plan, Local Government Performance Reporting Framework (LGPRF) and other legislative reporting requirements. Support the development of key performance indicators to measure the delivery of Council’s Strategic Objectives, as set out in the Council Plan, and Council department’s performance through business planning. In consultation with stakeholders, facilitate the development of corporate reporting documents required under Council’s Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework (IPRF), including Quarterly Council Plan progress reports, Performance Statements and the Annual Report. In accordance with Council’s IPRF, support the integration of strategic planning and corporate reporting activities across Council. Build awareness of and promote organisational understanding of, and commitment to, Council’s IPRF processes. Provide support to senior leaders and subject matter experts across Council to implement the IPRF and identify continuous improvement activities that will enhance organisational performance and corporate strategic planning and reporting processes and decision making. Analyse, interpret and implement legislative requirements ensuring compliance. The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role: Demonstrated experience in corporate planning, strategy development and reporting. Experience in facilitating corporate planning and/or reporting activities that adhere to legislative requirements and have a high degree of accuracy, including the development of annual and quarterly reports. Well-developed analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to simplify and present complex information with clarity to a diverse range of stakeholders. Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and facilitation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at various levels across the organisation. Strong project management skills and effective time management, including the ability to set priorities, plan and organise work and manage conflicting priorities.
