Fulltime Reporting Officer to Join our Team Fulltime 31st December, 2024 POSITION VACANT SUPERINTENDING REPORTING OFFICER NEWCASTLE About the Position We are seeking expressions of interest for suitable candidates who may be interested in filling a role as a Reporting Officer based at our Newcastle Laboratory.As a Reporting Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Quality, Turnaround Time and Client Service with regard to the reporting and certification of results in the Laboratory. Working hours will be based on 76 hours per fortnight on a Monday to Friday basis. Some overtime may be required. This position will report to the Operations Manager.Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Validation of laboratory data and assembly of reports Liaison with laboratory and customers to manage shipments from start to completion Efficient operation of the section to ensure work is completed on time with a high degree of accuracy Ensuring Quality Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures are followed Ensuring a high standard of housekeeping and presentation of all equipment and work areas Skills/Qualifications: Good Organisation and Communication Skills Computer skills (Excel, spreadsheets) Attention to detail A strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork Good understanding of coal sampling & testing operations Previous experience in coal analytical or preparation laboratory environments including exposure to a wide range of coal tests and testing programs would be seen as an advantage A remuneration package will be offered based on skills and experience for the role.
