About the role The Intelligence Analyst analyses intelligence and information collected by the Intelligence Collection Branch and via other avenues, undertakes assessments, and determines trends and highlight target areas. The Intelligence Analyst also creates quality tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence products for departmental decision making. It is a requirement that the position holder is successful in obtaining a NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL ONE security clearance as a condition of employment and maintaining the clearance for the duration of their appointment in the position. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to hold the NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL ONE security clearance. To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
