Job Description
Real Estate & Property Analyst Location: Sydney Type: Permanent / Full Time Join one of the largest global asset managers - Sydney based. This is a deal analysis and execution focused role. The Client Redpath Partners are proud to be partnering with one of the largest global asset managers. With a strong presence in the Asia Pacific region and growing Australian office, we are currently recruiting a talented individual to join their real estate debt investment business based in Australia. The Role As the Analyst, you will be responsible for deal screening, portfolio management, underwriting and transaction execution, as well as contributing to new initiatives across the Asia Pacific debt platform. Responsibilities: Deal screening & financial modelling of Real Estate loan investment opportunities. Support credit analysis, draft and review applications, conduct transaction due diligence & deal documentation. Preparation of indicative terms and term sheet documentation for investment opportunities. Preparation of IC papers seeking approval for new loan investment opportunities. Work closely with the deal and asset management teams to finalize financial models. Draft and review investor presentations and reporting, both internally and to third parties. Coordinate and project manage various processes and deliverables between internal business units and third parties, including loan servicing and loan asset management. Skills and Experience You will be highly motivated, results orientated with an ambition to work with a very experienced team and leadership. You will preferably have the following skills and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field and 2-3 years relevant experience. Excellent understanding of different debt structures, both senior and subordinate, for investment and construction deals. Strong modelling capability with experience in transaction execution, underwriting debt deals, assessing debt structures and risk mitigation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
