To put it simply we want our people to thrive and love the work they do. The Investment Analyst, Real Assets is an integral part of the Real Assets Team. The key purpose of the role is to support the Real Assets Team (as well as from time-to-time the broader Private Markets team) with financial modelling, investment analytics, market research, and reporting as well as other asset management activities to enhance the performance of Rest’s Infrastructure and Property portfolios. The role requires an understanding of and keen interest in Private Markets related investments (particularly Infrastructure and Property), and in supporting the management of a portfolio of investments in these areas. The key accountabilities include but are not limited to: Maintain and develop portfolio models for indirect infrastructure and property investments. Prepare forecasts, valuations, and analyse investment performance and risk/return profiles. Conduct market research and contribute to investment themes and ideas generation. Manage due diligence processes for capital transactions, including engaging with external advisors. Undertake Private Markets research into various sectors and submarkets. Assist in reviewing and optimising transaction parameters and structures. Prepare investment strategies for Real Assets investments. Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, including MSCI performance data. Assist with documentation review and negotiation of key transaction frameworks. Support management initiatives and performance monitoring of existing assets. Manage documentation for the Rest Investments information management system. Note: Analysts may occasionally be required to work on opportunities across other unlisted asset classes.
