Lead the J2SI service & projects + support the program's team Access salary packaging to increase take-home pay Full-time, Maximum term (4 years), based in Ballarat About the program The Journey to Social Inclusion (J2SI) is an innovative and evidence-based case management service for people experiencing long-term homelessness in Central Highlands, Victoria. This program differs from other homelessness services as it provides the time needed for people to access their permanent homes and have an improved quality of life and increased community connection. Your new role As the Program Manager, you will lead the successful implementation and delivery of the J2SI service and project and provide leadership and support to the program team through supervision, training, and secondary consultation. In this role, some of your responsibilities will be to: Collaborate with the J2SI coordinator to contribute to a high-functioning team. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. Work collaboratively with the J2SI Consortium, ELC team, and local ACCOs. Contribute to the research and evaluation component of the J2SI Project. Your skills and experience Qualification relevant to the delivery of community services e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or equivalent. Valid driver’s licence to drive in Australia. Significant experience in the homelessness sector or in a human services, welfare, social services role. Experience in leading and managing a service delivery program within a highly demanding environment. A lived experience of homelessness, rough sleeping, and transitioning into a home. Ability to engage and work effectively with consumers experiencing homelessness in a respectful, compassionate, and appropriate manner.
