Base pay range A$110,000.00/yr - A$140,000.00/yr Phillip Riley is partnering with a boutique renewable energy consultancy in Melbourne to hire a Junior/Graduate Grid Connection Engineer. The business has multiple small-medium size grid connection projects, building a credible name in their sector and offering invaluable expertise to help connect renewable assets. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working alongside seasoned professionals, as well as hone their skills across R0 and R1 for renewable asset connections. This role would suit an eager to learn graduate or junior grid connection engineer. The Role: Junior / Graduate Grid Connection Engineer Location: Melbourne CBD office location (2/3 days in the office) Key Skills: Experience working in a Grid Connection / Power Systems capacity delivering R0 and R1, whether out in industry or University projects. Experienced using PSSE and PSCAD. Engineering maths: Complex numbers, state space, per unit system, sequence transforms. Confident and able to communicate effectively with clients. Ideally some knowledge in NER rules, including Chapter 5a. Likely to be degree qualified in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering. Experience with Python desirable. Why this role?
