What We’re Offering Competitive Pay: Base salary + bonuses for invoiced hours and bringing in new clients. What You’ll Be Doing This is not a role where you’ll be stuck behind someone else’s files, chasing signatures, or waiting for approval. For the first 6 months, you’ll work closely with the Principal, transitioning files and getting up to speed. From there, you’ll take charge of your own caseload, managing files from start to finish with an open-door policy for support when needed. You’ll build client relationships, provide expert advice, and drive matters to successful outcomes. You’ll develop your own client base (yes, we expect you to bring in new business, but we’ll back you with the support you need to succeed). Who We’re Looking For You’re driven, confident, and ready for the next step in your career. Here’s what we need from you: 2-5 years PAE with an unrestricted practising certificate. Technical skills in drafting correspondence, simple pleadings, briefs for Counsel, some advisory work for clients and Court appearances — no fluff, just solid legal work. Confidence in managing files from start to finish. The ability to build and maintain client relationships. A growth mindset — you’re not just looking to clock in and out, you want to progress. Experience in at least one of the following: Commercial litigation Debt recovery Family law We’ll consider applicants with experience in commercial/property, estate planning, and administration, but these aren’t our core areas.
