Job Description

Barker College is currently seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced, innovative and enthusiastic Junior School Administration Assistant located at the Hornsby Campus. This will be a Permanent Full-Time Term-Time role. The Administration Assistant supports staff through general administration tasks in the Junior School, as well as assists with the management of common spaces across the Junior School. The successful applicant will be a positive team member who is efficient, flexible, and discreet, has a keen eye for detail and accuracy, is creative, and enjoys working with children and adults in a varied and busy environment. The School is an authorised International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) World School offering the Primary Years Program with a focus on Inquiry Learning from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. Specialist Subject Teachers are expected to support the implementation of inquiry pedagogy and experience in this area would be an advantage.
