Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a qualified carpenter looking to expand their skill set into the role of foreman for our Victorian-based Fitout business, delivering projects up to $10m. You will be working closely with an experienced Site Manager, who will assist with your training and development, where you will evolve your hands-on technical skills to focus on more site and trade contractor management. Integral to the role is strong communication skills. You will be dealing with a number of different stakeholders including Subcontractors, Building Managers, Team Members, Members of the public, and Clients. The ability to plan ahead to ensure project timelines are achieved is critical, as well as a commitment to upholding a safe, clean, and organized worksite. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in the early phase of their career with pathways to Site Foreman and eventually Site Management. Qualifications Supervisory Skills and Communication abilities Carpentry and Maintenance expertise Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Relevant certifications in Carpentry or Construction Scheduling and planning Basic level computer skills (email) Remuneration Package ranges between $100-$115k, depending on experience, with room for wage growth as skills and experience progress.
