The Role and responsibilities You will work within the Corporate Advisory practice group to provide dedicated knowledge management services as well as exciting and market leading innovation initiatives to the group. You will also work collaboratively within the broader KPI team to improve knowledge sharing, and increase efficiency, effectiveness and innovation across G+T. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Understand and promote the KPI strategy and the KPI activities undertaken for the Corporate Advisory group and for other groups. Effectively communicate with and manage key stakeholders. Enable an appropriate flow of legal information within the Corporate Advisory group and assist with knowledge flow between the practice groups, and where appropriate, between the firm and the external environment (clients/future employees). Draft appropriate written content for the Corporate Advisory group in the form of either a precedent, Knowledge and Learning guide or other content as needed by the practice group. Co-ordinate with others (e.g. lawyers, paralegals) to draft or prepare appropriate content for the practice group. Manage practice group content within the KPI system, and other core/firm-wide content, as necessary. Ensure all content is labelled and appropriately structured and is up to date. Provide direct 1:1 support as required by the lawyers in the group including being a “legal helpdesk”, mentoring lawyers, aiding in the transition into G+T for new starters, providing ad hoc 1:1 training as required. Participate and lead projects in both the innovation, and process improvement space. This may include Corporate Advisory specific or firm-wide projects. Participate in, and lead, G+T learning initiatives as appropriate. Reflect on KPI results and processes and seek to constantly improve our approach and implementation. About You To be successful in this position, you will have the following experience: At least 5 years’ post admission experience Experience working as a legal Practitioner within the Corporate Advisory space Specialist legal knowledge including MCLE Advanced research and analytical skills (legal and other research). Excellent writing and drafting skills. Advanced capacity to comprehend new legal concepts and information quickly, and then communicate about them clearly and coherently. Highly organised with ability to categorise, structure and label information for online delivery. Capacity to use relevant technologies and tools, e.g. Word, Sharepoint, Power BI, OneNote Communication skills including presentation skills; and the capacity to express complex ideas clearly. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and willingness to influence and collaborate actively across teams.
