Project description Exciting opportunity to join a major Australian Bank in an Application Support Engineering role. Modern, cloud-based, and looking for the right person to streamline and troubleshoot critical business processes. Responsibilities System and requirement analysis, Design, Coding & Testing phase. Effort Estimation (Water Fall Method), Review of Design and Code. Support SIT and UAT Testing. Deployment of Projects to Prod. Production 24 X 7 On call duty. Non-Production Environment Support Batch Cycle. KT Sessions for new team members. SKILLS Must have More than 8 years experience. Hands on experience of PowerShell scripting, XCOM, SFTP, Job scheduling. Knowledge of Networking concept. Knowledge of Azure cloud concept. Troubleshoot file transfer failures and process failed files before agreed cut-off time. Maintain documentation of production issues, production run-books and assist in documenting operational best practices. Knowledge of SQL database. Handle Conference Bridge during critical production downtime (P1 and P2 incidents) Excellent communication skill (verbal, written), proactive, willing to learn and work independently. Strong ITIL Process knowledge. Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks. Good team player, willingness to support in shifts and weekends if required.
