About the role An opportunity has arisen in our Perth office for a Lawyer with 2-3 years’ experience to join our General Insurance team. This close-knit group acts for major insurers in the areas of Workers’ Compensation, Public Liability, and complex Property Damage/Recoveries matters. Working directly with a Partner recognised by Doyles Guide and Best Lawyers, a large portion of your role will focus on the Workers’ Compensation aspect of the practice, and will see you regularly attending WorkCover for reconciliation conferences, directions hearings, pre-arbitration conferences, and arbitration hearings. No two matters will be the same, and in this role you will gain hands-on experience across a wide variety of claims, ranging from minor to catastrophic injuries. About you To be successful in this position, you will have 2-3 years of post-admission experience, and existing experience in Workers’ Compensation. We also invite applications from plaintiff lawyers with WorkCover experience.
