Lead Clinician - Castlemaine Community Mental Health Location: Castlemaine Work in an environment that offers: Excellent clinical exposure across a range of specialties The Position Job Reference: 1981Position Title: Lead Clinician - Castlemaine Community Mental HealthClassification: NP81 – NP74, YC42 – YC45, YB20 – YB23Salary per hour (exc. super): $44.55 - $56.73Hours per fortnight: 48 HoursEmployment Status: Ongoing Part Time The Role In a multi-disciplinary integrated community mental health team, and under the direction of the Team Psychiatrist, Senior Clinician, and Manager, the responsibilities include providing intake coordination, assessment, and clinical treatment, including crisis assessment, intensive treatment, case management, and support for patients, their families, and carers; participating in bio-psycho-social treatment modalities in both individual and group settings; formulating, negotiating, documenting, monitoring, and maintaining Individual Service Plans (ISP) in consultation with the patient, family, carers, and other care providers; engaging with key community agencies and service providers for rehabilitation, recovery, support, and discharge planning based on the needs of patients and families; participating in community consultation, awareness, and education activities, and developing community resources to increase understanding of psychiatric disorders and service delivery models; contributing to multi-disciplinary team processes by offering discipline-specific advice and guidance to junior staff and students; working flexible hours, including weekends, depending on service requirements; and performing other duties as directed.
