Job Description
Initial contract of 12 months with 2 x 12 months. Based in ACT. Requires NV1 Security Clearance. Security Due to client requirements, candidates must be an Australian citizen with active NV1 Security clearance. Applicants residing outside of Australia or non-citizens will not be considered. What We Are Looking For Ressam is currently looking to fill a Lead Cyber Security Policy Officer role for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Lead Cyber Security Policy Officer The Cyber Outreach and Strategy Section within the Cyber Security, Cloud and Networks Branch of DFAT’s Information Management and Technology Division has a requirement for a labour-hire resource to fill the role of Cyber Policy and Governance Officer. Key Duties And Responsibilities The requirements of the role will include, but not be limited to: Writing and creating ICT related policies. Completing cyber governance tasking requests. Assisting the team to deliver cyber training sessions. Undertaking a range of cyber outreach activities. The Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) Knowledge management (KNOW) - Level 6Governance (GOVN) - Level 6 About The Team The Cyber Outreach and Strategy section (CYO) has recently undergone a restructure to align core functions. CYO is seeking successful candidates to join a high performing team of Cyber Policy, Training, Cyber Awareness, and Strategy specialists to contribute to the maturity improvements of DFAT’s Cyber Security branch. The successful candidates will be working closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver Cyber Policy and assist with Cyber Governance activities. Work Arrangements Hybrid - 5 days in office for the first 2 months, then up to 3 days in office + 2 days from home or as otherwise agreed at DFAT's discretion.
