Join Vertical Scope Group’s (VSG) Professional Services Division in Canberra as we are seeking a driven, highly skilled and competent TS PV cleared, Engineering Manager to join our award-winning team in supporting our Defence and National Intelligence Community customers. You will be accountable for providing leadership and direction to ensure a high-level of integration and consistency across our clients' engineering, project functions and other Defence projects. About You: Extensive understanding of engineering methodologies, systems and procedures. Previous experience leading work teams. Previous experience within infrastructure architecture. About the Role: Lead the design process and communication of high-level structures to enable the development of solutions that meets current and future project needs. Establish engineering governance and reporting processes within the agreed framework to enable the Executive to make timely decisions on the key areas affecting schedule, cost and quality. Develop, implement and manage the engineering artefacts which deliver capabilities required to enable the project direction. Manage project level engineering risks and issues escalated to the program by supervisors, peers, business stakeholders and/or project managers. Author, present Executive level information and decision briefs on engineering and quality management issues as required. Manage engineering resources based on priorities, budget, risk and Executive direction.
